Raven Banner Entertainment Boards Tyler Savage’s ‘Oddities’

EXCLUSIVE: Raven Banner Entertainment has acquired world sales rights to Oddities by writer-director Tyler Savage (Stalker) and will launch sales at Cannes.

The film had its world premiere at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival. Starring in the pic are Lilimar (Inside Out 2), Lovie Simone (Forever), Adrienne Barbeau (The God), Will Oldham (A Ghost Story), James Lee Thomas (One Spoon Of Chocolate), Sara Durn (Shelby Oaks), and Xander Berkeley (Terminator 2).

The film is said to follow two self-destructive best friends (Lilimar and Simone) who accidentally kill their drug dealer and are forced to flee town. The official synopsis reads: “Stopping at a roadside antique shop, they discover that the older woman running the place (Barbeau) isn’t as sweet as she seems. It’s out of the frying pan and into the fire as they fight for survival while the criminals they were running away from descend on the property.”

The project is produced by Fryman Films in association with Wrigley Media Group and produced by David Broad, Noah Lang, Javier Gonzalez, and Max Neace. Executive producers include Jamie Meyer, Adrienne Barbeau, Lilimar, Lovie Simone, Andrew Carlberg, Lucas Fleisher, Misdee Wrigley Miller, Joe Livecchi, and David Cottingham. Jeff Smith, Travis LaSalle, and Dash Hawkins serve as co-producers.

“We’re always drawn to bold, filmmaker-driven genre pieces that take big swings, and Oddities absolutely delivers,” said Michael Paszt of Raven Banner Entertainment. “Tyler has crafted something that feels dangerous, unpredictable, and genuinely fun. It’s exactly the kind of film that connects with international audiences looking for fresh voices in horror.”

Raven Banner’s James Fler added: “The film has a sharp tonal balance and a strong commercial hook and a phenomenal cast that bring this film to insane heights. We’re excited to bring Oddities to the global marketplace and build on the momentum from its festival launch.”

The deal was negotiated by David Broad and Noah Lang on behalf of the film and by Michael Paszt and James Fler for Raven Banner Entertainment.
