Gypsy Rose Blanchard Explains Decision to Wear Wigs While Showing Off Natural Hair
Gypsy Rose Blanchard is shedding light on her weight loss secrets.
More than two years after she was released from prison for conspiring to kill her mother Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, Gypsy showed off her physical transformation and revealed how she managed to lose so much weight.
“OK y’all, I’m not gatekeeping. My weight loss came from life circumstances,” she captioned a video posted to Instagram on March 4. “After being released two years ago my lifestyle changed a lot—from commissary junk food to home-cooked meals and trying new foods.”
To prove her point, Gypsy recorded herself stepping up on the scale and showing its reading at 108 pounds. She also displayed her toned abs in the clip, as well as her long brown locks.
The 34-year-old—who shares daughter Aurora, 14 months, with boyfriend Ken Urker—noted that her weight loss was not intentional, nor was it due to exercise or medication.
“I don’t follow a workout routine (though I’d love one),” she explained. “I don’t limit my diet, and I don’t use GLP-1.”
