About Her IFBB Journey & Achievements

Kris - 1

1. You earned your IFBB Pro Card in under a year, winning at the IFBB Nationals shortly after your U.S. debut what mindset and preparation fueled that rapid rise?

I’ve always enjoyed training and taking care of my body, but competing wasn’t something I had planned from the beginning. When I entered the competition world in the U.S., everything changed. I became extremely focused and intentional about my goals. I stayed consistent with my training, nutrition, and posing, and I trusted my coach 100%. More than that, I believed in my potential even before others did. That combination of discipline, belief, and execution is what accelerated my journey.

2. How did you feel when you realized you became IFBB Pro at 34?

It was a surreal moment. I don’t think it fully hit me right away because everything happened so fast. But when I stepped back and realized what I had accomplished in such a short time, especially starting later than many athletes, I felt extremely proud. It proved to me that timing doesn’t define success commitment does.

3. What was the most surprising lesson transitioning to the pro level?

The level of detail required. At the amateur level, you can win with a strong physique, but at the pro level, everything matters posing, stage presence, conditioning, and even how you carry yourself off stage. It’s not just about being good anymore. it’s about being complete.

4. How do you approach Wellness differently?

The Wellness division is very specific. it emphasizes lower body development with a feminine, balanced upper body. My training is heavily focused on glutes and legs, with a lot of attention to shape, not just size. I train with intention, focusing on mind-muscle connection and execution rather than simply lifting heavy.

5. Walk us through your week-to-week prep.

My prep is very structured. I follow a detailed training split, cardio plan, and nutrition protocol designed by my coach. As the show gets closer, everything becomes more precise, with adjustments made daily based on how my body responds. Posing is also a huge part of my routine. In Wellness, how you present your physique can make all the difference.

6. What do you prioritize for Wellness judging?

Glutes and lower body development are definitely the main focus, but shape, symmetry, and flow are just as important. Stage presence is also key confidence, elegance, and how you move on stage can elevate your physique even more.

7. How does nutrition differ in the off-season versus prep?

In the off-season, my goal is to build while maintaining quality, so calories are higher but still controlled.

During prep, everything becomes more precise calories are adjusted, and I focus on conditioning while preserving muscle. Consistency is the biggest factor in both phases.

8. How do you protect recovery and joint health?

Recovery is something I take very seriously. I prioritize sleep, mobility work, and treatments like bodywork and chiropractic care. I also incorporate advanced recovery strategies, including targeted supplementation and peptides to support tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and optimize overall recovery. I listen to my body pushing hard is important, but knowing when to recover is what allows longevity in this sport.

9. What is your must-have meal or ritual?

Honestly, my structured meals keep me grounded, but my refeed meal is something I always look forward to because it helps both physically and mentally. It’s part of the balance that keeps me consistent long-term.

10. How do you stay focused during a tough prep?

I remind myself why I started and what I’m working toward. Prep is not just physical it’s mental. There are hard days, but discipline carries you when motivation doesn’t. I focus on the bigger picture.

11. What has been the biggest mental challenge?

Learning to trust the process, especially when you don’t immediately see changes. This sport challenges your patience and confidence, but overcoming that builds a stronger mindset.

12. How do you define wellness?

For me, wellness is balance, taking care of your body, but also your mind. It’s about feeling strong, confident, and aligned with yourself, both on and off the stage.

13. What are your goals for the next year?

My main focus is my professional debut and establishing myself in the Pro League. I want to bring my best package to the stage and continue improving with each show.

14. What impact do you hope to have on women?

I want to show women that it’s never too late to start and that discipline and consistency can completely transform your life.

If my journey can inspire even a few women to believe in themselves, that means everything to me.

15. How do you see the future of Wellness, and where do you fit in?

The Wellness division is growing fast and becoming more competitive every year. I want to position myself as a strong and consistent athlete in the division someone who brings physique, beauty, and presence to the stage.
