Aaron Rodgers Reveals Where He Stands With Brother Jordan Rodgers After Estrangement

Indeed, the Super Bowl XLV MVP believes a reconciliation never would have occurred without his wife in his life.

“It opens up your heart in a really deeper way,” he explained. “A year ago, two years ago, five years ago for sure, I would’ve said, ‘No, I’m never going to reconcile. It’s just not going to happen. It’s not in the cards. I’m not ready for that. Don’t think I ever will be.’ It was really built in judgment, ego and judgment. And ego and judgment get in the way of basically any progress or evolution possible so I had to really put those aside.”

As for why Aaron hadn’t spoken much about his family until his Netflix documentary in 2024? He didn’t want to add fuel to the press fire against him.

“Another thing people hit me with all the time is, ‘He’s such a f–king a–hole even his family hates him,’” he added. “Nobody knew what was going on with it. I decided that I didn’t want to play this out in the media because I didn’t think that was right.”

Although Aaron acknowledged that some shots were fired at him publicly by his family—either intentionally or unintentionally—he doesn’t hold it against them anymore.

“They didn’t know what it would be like to have a son who was super famous,” he continued. “I didn’t know what it would be like after the Super Bowl to be super famous in the way that I was and how that changes relationships. The relationships dissolve. Now, full circle, they’re back together.”
