Jenna Bush Hager Has ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ Cameo, ‘Today’ Co-host Reveals

With The Devil Wears Prada 2 less than a month away, one of the sequel’s star-studded cameos was leaked on live television.

During Wednesday’s taping of Today, the hosts were discussing the David Frankel-helmed sequel ahead of its May 1 premiere in theaters, when Craig Melvin let slip that one of his colleagues will make an onscreen appearance.

“By the way, you know how that movie’s going to be good? You know how I can tell?” said Melvin. “JBH is in it!”

A stunned Hager resonded, “I don’t know that you were supposed to drop that bomb, but if you’re …”

“This is live. You cannot tell Craig anything!” said Guthrie, teasing: “Why don’t you read my journal while you’re at it?”

“I thought it was common knowledge?” said Melvin, to which Al Roker quipped, “It is now!”

“Cut it out for the other feeds! Sorry about that, JBH,” added Melvin. “My bad!”

The Devil Wears Prada 2 sees the fashionable return of Anne Hathaway’s Andi, Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestley, Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton and Stanley Tucci as Nigel Kipling.

Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman will also reprise their roles from the original 2006 Aline Brosh McKenna-helmed film, based on Lauren Weisberger’s novel, with Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Rachel Bloom, Patrick Brammall, Conrad Ricamora and Lady Gaga.
